Additional Information
Fast growing and extremely high in protein, PowerPlant is the perfect supplement to your whitetail food plot. The blend includes sunflowers, beans, and peas and gives you more tonnage per acre than any other spring/summer annual. Easy to plant, one 25-lb. bag covers 1 acre. To plant, disk the area thoroughly, at least 4" to 6" deep, then disperse the seed and lightly disk or harrow the plot the cover the seed no more than 1" deep. Recommended planting from early May to late June, depending on location.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MOST TONAGE a food plot can provide Keep in mind this if PH and soil is in great shape this will grow up to 8' tall. Ideal ground temp. 62 degreees. Seeds have to be less than a inch planted - if you plant them deeper they will not grow. The best summer forage!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Summer Food Plot After Easter, I cleared me a new area for a food plot, put out lime that day. 2 weeks later, I returned, disc the ground again, and spread my seed. After the seedlings broke ground (About 1 week) I fertilized the area. I would say that my plot is growing great but apparently I have some hungry deer in my area. I never expected that much traffic in my food plot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, it's looking good! Directions are easy to follow and should be adhered to; germination began within 4 days; crop is doing well, but rabbits and turkeys are enjoying the sprouts; I anticipate a large mast and plentiful forage for all of my critters

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product, Great Results PowerPlant was a wonderful addition to our food plot arsenal. The only problem in our area is that our deer herd is very large and thus it was overgrazed. The sorghum and sunflowers still managed to get very tall, however, there was little vining of other vegetation. The only thing I would recommend is to plant twice the recommend amount per acre. Having spoken with a whitetail institute consultant, it appears that that is the best way to regardless of herd size
