My CCW
I have owned and been carrying this budget minded revolver for a little over a year now, and I have never had a problem with it. (I carry in a IWB leather holster) I chose the polymer version because I thought the weight difference would be nice for wearing all day, and the polymer is very weather resistant along with not being shiny just in case it accidently shows. I choose to carry a more budget revolver just in case i do have to use it, and then I don't have my nice $700 revolver tied up in an investigation.
I have put over a thousand rounds through the gun (no joke) and have not had a single problem with it, so I would say reliability is very good. I shoot a mix of some hot personal defense loads and just regular 38spc ball rounds.
I very much recommend this revolver, has I have had a very good experience.
I think it would make a good truck gun or backup.

Plastic frame not the best idea
Liked the gun, but after 15 shots the front sight fell OFF.. Has one very small, very short screw holding the front sight on. Recoil from magnum loads will cause the sight to loosen.. Attempts to tighten will strip the plastic threads. Gun was sent to Taurus for 5 weeks, came back with a loose sight. A different "New" gun out of the display case also had a loose sight. It was never fired. Taurus to take my gun back and destroy it and giving me a refund. Nice gun as long as you don't plan on shooting it.
