Rated 5 out of 5 by from Money saver! We use these suction cup clips to secure the trailering cover while the boat is in the slip. Otherwise we can't use the straps that wrap around the frame of the trailer, and the cinch rope in the cover can't be made tight enough. These suction cups give the cover tension and help it stay on in all kinds of weather. Using these clips made it possible to use the trailering cover instead of buying some other kind of cover or having a snap cover installed. You do have to be careful where you try to stick them, they have trouble holding on over surfaces of different levels, such as the graphic stickers on the side of the boat. If part of it is on the sticker and part is not, then it won't hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jet logic tie- Downs The product did exactly what it said it would and held down our winter cover the entire winter. We had Overton replace them because the bungie part gave out (not Overtons fault) [...] we are using them again this winter. I can't begin to tell you how great this product is. You should have seen our boat full of ropes,to hold down the cover before we found and tried these. I would definately recomend this product. We have a 29" open bow Sea Ray. and the winter cover weighs a ton and these do their job perfect. Thank you again Overton for the PERFECT product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far so good These suction cups work well. I have only had one (I use six) come off on two occasions both after a heavy rain where some water collected in my cover. My only concern since this is the first season I have used them is I wonder how well they will work two or three years from now...will the rubber get old and rigid and need to be replaced. My fist impression is they work really well and allow me to hook my boat cover in places that give the best support and coverage versus having to hook the cover where I can find a place to hook on my pontoon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste the money! I recently purchased a used ski boat and I don't have a lift for it yet, so I am using the cover that came with it. The cover is universal and fits a wide range of boat lengths, thus it is too long for my boat with excess slack...which is bad when it rains. I tried these suction cups buckled to the straps on the cover. Some of them hold really good and others come off very easily. It doesn't matter if they are wet or not before applying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good in certain applications Good idea and easy to install. Boat must be clean and dry when using these. I tried towing the boat using these and the wind against the cover made them pop off. They don't work well if the boat is in the water and I tried to make them nice and tight, but most of the time they slide up the side of the boat. Not bad if your just looking to keep a cover on but don't care how tight it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are great, worth the price. I was a bit skeptical, have been looking for a way to secure a boat cover to a sailboat without having to drill holes under the rubrail. Couldn't find hooks that would stay on rail. These work great. Suction is extremely strong, attached to boat even though surface was less than perfect. Took only seconds to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Tiedowns Ever Use these to ensure a solid tie down for the boat cover I have for my tahoe. These are very secure, the suction hold is incredible and the bungy like cords are perfect to secure the ties on the cover. much better than ropes around the edge of the boat and were very easy to put on and take off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love these Tie downs Made covering the boat so much faster than before. I had used bungi straps, and having to pull from one side of boat to the other. Seemed like it took awhile to do. Suction Cup Tie downs are attached to the cover, and I simply spread the cover over the boat, stick the cups in place and go.

Would these work for attaching to paddleboards to anchor to buoys?

Asked by: ashley
They do offer holding power of up to 60 lbs., so these could probably work for that purpose.

Do i secure the bungee straps to my boat cover straps. I have straps all around my boat that secure to the trailer. I am assuming the cover straps will wrap around the bungee strap on the suction cup?? I am curious how these work thanks

Asked by: chris ramm
If you're using these for your boat cover, then these would replace the cover straps. These are great for tying down your cover when your boat is already in the water (docked overnight, on a boat lift, etc.) and wrapping straps around a trailer isn't an option.

How do these attach to the cover?

Asked by: T
They come with a bungee like cord that you hook to. I would not recommend these for travel since the bungee cord would stretch in the wind. They are ideal for a boat cover to prevent weather while be stationary either docked or on your trailer.

does this work on aluminum boats as well?

Asked by: Teri
Thank you for your inquiry. This product works on any flat surface. As long as your boat maintains a flat surface there should be no problem with the performance of the product.
