Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome !!!!!!! Went on vacation for a week at the Lake, these were great for docking boat, fueling at marina or just getting out the boat and going site seeing, I have 2 and going to order 2 more, very durable, held my 21ft. deck boat just fine, a lot easier than messing around with ropes GREAT product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy & fast to use What I like about these flexible boat ties, is that they are totally flexible and adjustable no matter what dock you come up to. You can secure your boat quickly. We can easily tie ourselves to another boat in open water and don't get the jarring we would get with ropes. I bought these after boating with my brother using them to tie off, and liked them so much, so I bought 4 of them. My nephew saw them after boating with us for the week and is buying them for his boat he keeps on the lake. I really like them. Boating for 8 years. No negatives thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for quick tie-ups I order this product for my boat (23.5ft Glastron) but only ordered one to try it out. Just ordered my 3rd set to give to friends who saw how easy these are to use for quick, temporary tie-ups at the marina, courtesy docks and with other boats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from **Awesome Product, Easy to Use ;-) I've used this product for over a year now during weekend and week long trips to the lake. Extremely simple to use and I love the stretch of the rope. People enjoy water sports close to our dock and many waves come rolling our way. The flexibility of the rope allows my deck boat to move gently with the waves but returns to the original position without damage to the deck hardware and mooring cleats. Excellent idea, but I'd love to have the option of picking a different color other than black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great docking system This is a great mooring line that we use with our pontoon and speedboat. We take our boats to restaurants and friends cabins and the available docking posts are always at different locations and this line allows us to adopt to virtually any dock configuration. Hook-up is quick and easy without having to tie knots and have excess rope hanging all over. The quality is very good and several people have asked us where to get these dock lines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dock line yet I use this dock line to secure my float deck to my dock. It stretches when the float rises and falls with the lake water level always keeping the float well secured to my dock during any bad weather. The 7 loops are great to make adjustmaents to the amount of tension needed. Even though it is not make for long term mooring, my dock line has performed flawlessly during these past 2 months of continuous use. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 18 Months of Use I go fishing by myself most times so have to secure my boat to the dock after launching and again when taking the boat out of the water. I've used these stretch dock line about 80 to 90 times over the past 18 months. The outside coating is just now starting to come apart. Why the 5 stars? Because there is no better and faster product to temporarily secure your boat to a dock then this one. It is a little hard to put on the giant tie off cleats the State put on the dock but at 70 yrs old, I can still do it. I should add that the deteriation might be caused in part by my boat being kept outside and exposed to heat most of the year and moisture during the winter/spring. I only purchased 2 the first time but going to order 4 this time as I want them on both sides of my boat. My boat is a 16'aluminum with console and 60hp motor. It therefore is relatively light in weight. Not sure if I would use them for a large heavy fiberglass boat.

Can this be used to tie up a pontoon in a slip instead of dock rope?

Asked by: To Much Rope
This is for temporary docking only. This can be used on a pontoon boat in a slip but only for short periods of time. If you are leaving the boat unattended, during the week for example, then I would use a dock rope.

Will these fit over a 6" dock post?

Asked by: LJ
You can, but it is really tight and not recommended. You are able to loop around the pole or tie a not for temporary mooring uses.
