Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as shown in the Photo Just wanted to say that out of the box (smart SIG box) the magazines have a number of differences from those supplied with the gun. The magazines supplied with the gun are exactly as in the picture above - made in the USA, jet black in color, state SIG SAUER P226 9mm, and are very smooth to load. The magazines delivered are made in Italy, are not black and mark where your fingers touch them, state SIG SAUER 9mm, are crunchy to load, plus, there are additional perforations in the front of the magazine and the base plate is different. I hope they shoot better than they look and feel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Follower displaces during tactical reload I bought two of these before a tactical weapons course to supplement the three that came with my Legion P226. The originals were stamped "Made in USA" and functioned flawlessly. These two, stamped "Made in Italy" had problems throughout the course. Every time I did a tactical reload, dropping the mag on the ground, the follower displaced presenting the rounds rear up. Either the spring is too weak to keep the follower in place or the follower is too small to stay aligned properly. These will be "indoor target range only". For the cost, and directly from SIG, I expected better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They work, but better is available for cheaper I received two of these 15-round mags in the box with the P226 I purchased a year-and-a-half ago. They work reliably, and that's about all the good I can say about them. The finish is rough, the springs are crunchy and stiff in a very bad way, and it has lower capacity than the 18-round mags produced by the same OEM under their own brand. Those 18-round mags happen to be much smoother, better finished, exactly the same size, larger capacity, and about half the cost of these. Since these do at least work reliably and I got them for free, I keep them as mags of last resort on pistol-heavy stages where I might blow through my four good mags, but these are certainly not something I would buy if given the choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from functional, but not as expected The additional magazines I ordered for my P226 Legion came in Sig Sauer boxes, but were manufactured by MecGar and were not to same quality as the magazines that were manufactured by Sig Sauer and stamped as Made in the USA and patent pending. The MecGar magazines have a rough uncoated surface finish and are closer to raw steel as compared to the black powder coated, smooth magazines that were supplied with my gun. If the description would have specifically said they were MecGar, or different, then I would not have purchased them. They are functional, but not as smooth on rapid magazine reloads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Magazines Bought extra magazines for my P226 Legion as I easily have put 100 rounds per week for the last year through the pistol which works perfectly. The original magazines still work just fine, but I thought that 2 new ones would be good to have. Used them for 400 rounds and they are excellent. They are stamped "made in USA" even though the packaging says "made in Italy" Weird. But they look identical to the 3 that came with the pistol, so all is well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality Italian made. Not the quality American made magazines that shipped with my P226.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Transition Magazine worked amazingly well first time out of the book. After wiping magazine down, I took it to the range and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as good as those that came with gun see above NOT THE SAME MAGS !!!!!!! I assumed that when I ordered additional mags -they would be what I had received with 226 legion --they were not and I was not informed that they were not identical much tougher to load
