1984 5.7L 260 starter
I was concerned because this starter is much smaller than the original, and the gear has more teeth than the original, so I wasn't certain it would work. I even called Sierra and talked with with about it. It was much easier to install since it is smaller and lighter. And it has more torque than the original so it really spins the motor fast upon starting. I'm very pleased with this starter.

Will this work on my 1988 OMC 3.0 Model number 302amrgdp
