Rated 5 out of 5 by from This paint really works!!!! I'm refurbishing a boat, use the SEM vinyl paint coating on the seats{Think it boosted the price that I may get by 6 to 700 dollars. Its cheaper than buying new seats.. if you follow their directions it comes out great.. just make sure you order enough because you put it on in really thin layers like me I came up two cans short.. Also when using the royal blue or dark colors, make sure you the right tape cuz it will bleed thru regular masking tape..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME! This paint is easy to use, covers those awful mold spots, made my upholstry look almost new! Easier than scrubbing. I just taped off/covered the red with plastic and painters tape and sprayed the white portions. a couple days later I taped off/covered the white and sprayed the red. The painters tape did not pull off the 2 day old white I just painted. love this stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from skeptical I was skeptical that this product would work as well as it has. It is more flexible than I thought a paint could be. When I first sat on the finished product I thought that it surely couldn't stand the stretching that a seat has when being used. So far, I'm extremely satisfied with this and would definitely recommend this to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great coverage and ease of application after cleaning with recommended product, I applied several coats, be sure to have plenty of air circulation and recommend doing out doors. Several Light coats work great, coverage is about one set of cushions (bottom & back) per can. I used forest green color and job really turned out fantastic. Looks like NEW!

Hi I am trying to repaint our pool floats they have faded and and have mold stains too. They are closed cell floats. What paint would I use on them? Thank You for your help.

Asked by: Don Ca
While this coating could work, it is intended for use on boat seats and other tougher materials than an inflatable pool float. Without knowing the exact condition of the floats, I would say it might just be better to replace them. Check out our full assortment at the link below, where you can find several new floats for the same price as a can of this coating: http://www.gandermountain.com/Boating/Lake-Pool-Leisure/Floats-Lounges

Can this product be used on top of vinyl floor on a pontoon boat?  We have some bad spots which makes the floor look bad. Don't want to replace floor. Could we paint the whole floor with this product? Is it durable enough for floor?

Asked by: Becky
The product does say it covers MOST vinyl marine surfaces, however, I'm not sure if flooring would be included in that or not. Please contact the vendor directly for a more specialized answer: https://www.semproducts.com/contact-us

The rubber underside of my marine carpet is getting brittle. Would this product be a good flexible overspray to referbish the rubber backing of the carpet? Would it melt to the boat and stick if left in direct sunlight?

Asked by: captain
No. This Vinyl Coat would not be good for your project. Although this spray is an elastormeric coating the thickness is more like a spray paint and less like an undercoating or Flex-Seal type product that you are looking for.

Will this work to repaint the graphics on the side of a boat if prepped properly?

Asked by: whit3030

Would this product act as new vinyl or is this a paint? The vinyl skin is cracked and starting to fall off the mesh. A small spot in a not very noticeable spot. On my boat.
