Why don't screen doors come with these
I purchase my first Screen Door Crossbar for our main screen door and found it to be so convienient that I purchased a second one for the screen door at the back of the camper. They're so inexpensive & handy I don't understand why the screen door manufacturers don't just install them as a part of the screen door. A word of caution though, when it's latched to the actual door it is NOT intended to be used to pull and latch the door. While the bar is sturdy the screen door is light aluminum and can be easily damaged. I strongly recommend.

A very handy addition!
Out of the box I thought there was too much play in the connections and that they wouldn't fit tight when installed. It turned out that once everything was attached with the screws that were provided, the bar seems solid and is very useful. Careful measurements are necessary, however. There wasn't much room to attach this to my screen door....the frame was fairly narrow.....so drill your holes carefully. Once the screws are in, that's it! It all turned out well, however, and I'm happy with how it works. It is just as I'd hoped!

Love it!
Bought this for our new fifth wheel because the door has only a tiny finger catch to close the door. This makes it SO much easier to close the door especially since we have a puppy who would love to sneak out the door. Hubby was skeptical, but agrees now!

More to it but worth the time!
Little more to install than I thought but using 4 #8x1/2” stainless steel pan head screws worked best for my needs. The handle itself is of good quality with 4 #6x3/4” screws included. The template included with handle is junk. After all pains it rocks! You will also need 4 #6x3/8 self tapping screws to stabilize the sliding bar so it will last. Worth the time and money.

I TRULY DON’T KNOW HOW I WENT SO LONG WITHOUT IT!
Having a screen door crossbar has made exiting out our RV doors so much easier. Just being able to grab the crossbar and pull the door closed makes a BIG DIFFERENCE.
Pricing was great. I have really put this crossbar through the test. Quality is GREAT.
I will and I have recommended the SCREEN DOOR CROSSBAR to friends and family and fellow campers.

A job any one can "Handle"
The good: The fit was perfect. Measurements as advertised. Installation was easy.
The bad: The installation directions were overkill. If you any mechanical skills and a tape measure, its pretty obvious. read the directions, take what you need from them and then hang the handle.
The Ugly: None, it looks great and does the job it was purchased to do.

Nice and sturdy easy to install
Nice sturdy handle that's easy to install. Center Bar could be a little bit longer to make it a little longer. And I wish the fit between the bar and plastic end mounts with a little bit tighter. The screw makes it secure but it's a little bit sloppy and in my opinion would be just a little bit stronger if it was a tighter fit.
