With its legendary action and renowned reliable rotary magazine, all 10/22 rifles are sleek, perfectly balanced, rugged, and superbly accurate. The 10/22 Takedown model enables quick separation of the barrel from the action for ease of transport and storage. Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloaded, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies, and pulling them apart. Reassembly is just as simple, allowing for a secure connection of the barrel and action, ensuring consistent accuracy shot after shot. The precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged barrel has a satin black finish and it capped with an SR-556/Mini-14-style flash suppressor mounted with a 1/2"-28 thread. The Takedown model also comes with a backpack-style bag, which provides ample storage for your rifle with extra pockets and magazine pouches. And of course it's still packed with all the premium 10/22 features you've come to expect like a rugged, weather resistant composite stock, a high-tech polymer trigger housing, a detachable rotary magazine, an extended magazine release, and a combination scope base adapter.
