Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very warm! This sleeping bag is awesome! Yes, it’s not for ultra-light camping as it’s heavy and not super compact, but it does what it’s made for; keeping you warm and toasty. I have the one rated for -20 degrees. I take it camping and sometimes keep it in the trunk of my car in case of an emergency where I’m stuck out in the cold. The material is top notch. Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because it’s a bit heavy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulky and not warm I already reviewed - here goes again. Bulky and not warm. I had a sleeping bag that was slick on both sides. It kept me warm. I got this on because it is not slick and I was hoping it would not slide. It is too big for my purpose, but does stay in place. But, my house was 72 degrees F. and I had goose bumps - my feet were cold and my body was cold. Yes, I had it spread out over the bed, but my slick-on both-sides sleeping bag was open on top the bed, too, and it kept me warm. I wish I'd never bought it.

Is this machine washable?

Asked by: Clay
Hand-wash in a bathtub (best) or in a large, front-loading washer with no agitator. Use cool water and mild soap. Rinse several times to make sure all the soap is removed. An extra spin cycle or an extractor may be used to remove excess water. For drying, your best option is air-drying. While it takes longer, it will protect the outer shell and insulation. If you must use a dryer, tumble dry at a very low heat setting and make sure the bags have room to tumble freely. If your dryer's not large enough, you'll need to take them to the laundromat and use a commercial machine. Keep an eye on the bags as they're drying, add a couple of clean tennis balls or gym shoes to break up any insulation that's clumped up.
