Additional Information
Rage Outdoors introduced the most lethal broadhead to ever hit the market: The Rage X-Treme. With a 2.3" cutting diameter, the sweeping blade angle on the new X-Treme maintains kinetic energy longer and penetrates deeper than any other blade, and produces larger entry and exit wounds for even better blood trails. For dependable blade containment and deployment at all times, the Rage X-Treme has been designed with with the newly patented Shock Collar. This new design will ensure that your blades will remain in place until that ultimate moment of truth. 3 broadheads per box. Weight: 100 gr.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rage X-Treme 2-Blade Broadhead Review I really liked how the Rage X-Treme flew in my tests. It offers great confidence building consistent accuracy. Rage's patented Shock-Collar blade retention system is awesome! The only down side that I can see with this broadhead is perhaps also one of it's best assets. That being, the blades will not deploy upon impact unless the draw weight of your bow is greater than 60 lbs. I tested this out and was impressed as to how accurate that metric is. While this is a great safety feature, the 60 lb minimum draw weight requirement prevents a number of younger archers (including my two boys) from using them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rage x-treme 2 blade I bought these broadheads recently and was able to harvest a deer yesterday with them. I was amazed with the size of the entry and exit holes. Great blood trail, and the deer only went 10 yards before dropping. These broadheads are great! Another great addition compared to older rage broadheads is the shock ring that holds the blades in until impact.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best got better After reading other reviews of Rage broadheads it seems either you love or hate them. I have only have excelent experiences using Rage broadheads and cannot wait to unleash a Rage X-Treme on a buck this season. The biggest complaints I heard about Rage broadheads is poor penetration and the blades opening too easily. I believe that poor penetration is due to todays bows being touting speed and only light arrows accomplish the high speeds. Of course you are going to get poor penetration if you shoot toothpicks compared to shooting telephone poles. I have only had good experiences when I had good shot placement, but just with any other broadhead poor placement usually results in a poor result. With the Rage X-Treme broadheads i have had no problems with the blades opening easily. I have had problems with other Rage broadheads opening, but with the new plastic retainer instead of a o-ring they stay closed no matter how much I shake or bump them. The only problem with the plastic retainer is that they break after each shot, as the are suppose to, and you need to carry extra with you when ever you go out hunting. I would recomend the Rage X-Treme broadhead to anyone that is looking for an exclent broadhead that is shooting a heavier arrow and a bow with the recomended 60 pound or higher draw weight. And finally, remember you are shoting an arrow not a bullet, bone can deflect an arrow on a perfectly placed arrow.
