Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lethal Broadhead Shot a 12 pointer from my tree stand. The broadhead entered right behind the shoulder at a steep angle. It took out one lung and liver before exiting through the intestine area, put a cut in one of the hind legs and stuck in the groung. Huge enterance and exit holes and massive blood trail. The buck only went about 30 yards. Great broadhead. PUT A RAGE IN THE CAGE!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny These bone breaking 2" cut do a perfect job. Shot a buck this week. Broke front leg and entered into lung area at 52 yards with wind in face. I won't use any other. EVER thank you rage. Best on the market in my book!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for fast crossbows! Outstanding broadhead! If you are having difficulty finding a broadhead that will fly true out of your extremely fast compound/crossbow, look no further. These truly fly like a field tip. Happy hunting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm a fan I was a bit cautious about using these, but was pleased to see these do exactly what they claimed to do. Killed a nice buck earlier this week - the broadhead went through and through taking both lungs and leaving a perfect blood trail. Grateful to the archery tech @ Gander Mtn for selling me on these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely deadly I bought a 3-Pack of these. Using a Barnette Raptor FX, I shot two deer. The first, a decent size buck, took a hit broadside. I was a complete pass through and left a full 2 1/2" wide entry slice and an identical exit slice meaning that the blade had fully extended and locked in before the blades entry. It sliced through both lungs and severed the artery running from the heart to the back of the deer. After leaving the deer it penetrated the ground about 13" and was still sharp and true enough for re-use. The buck ran ten feet, laid down for about three seconds, got up and took two steps before it fell over dead. The next day I used a second Rage Crossbow X on a large doe. At 40 Yards took a complete pass through in almost the same place as the previous buck. This shot also left 2 1/2" entry and exit wounds and buried in the dirt. Unlike the buck, the doe leaped over a huge pile of Greenbriar Brambles that she was standing next to after being hit. Also, unlike the buck, the was not a huge blood trail immediately where she was hit. I walked around the big pile of brush expecting to have to track a lightly bleeding doe half through the night, only to find she went down when she landed after jumping over the brush. She literally only made it 8 feet from the impact point and there was blood everywhere! These have to be the most deadly broadheads I have ever screwed into a shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game Getter Extraordinaire I bought these broadheads on the recommendation of a friend for use on big game and turkey with my Barnett Brotherhood crossbow. There's nothing quite like them. At first assembly was a little tricky, but I figured it out. With the blades pushed forward in the flight position, make sure a tab on the plastic "shock collar" is centered on the trailing edge of both blades (catching the blade notch on the trailing edge of each blade) . Do NOT line up the plastic shock collar notches (slots), located between the tabs, under a blade. The tabs are designed to break on impact, bending backwards, allowing the blades to slide backward into their open position. You should be able to use each shock collar for three game shots/impacts, by realigning and centering the remaining tabs. The shock collar tabs, once the broadhead is screwed and tightened on the arrow shaft, keep the blades from accidentally falling out of flight position in case you tap or drop them against something. They fly true, only had to adjust my scope an inch or so compared to my field points. On game, they are deadly. After being whacked with a 2 inch wide scalpel sharp cut (usually pass throughs) game bleeds out VERY quickly and thoroughly. Blood trails are more like a blood bath...not to mention short because your game never travels far after being hit.

I have the older rage broadheads. The ones with the rubber bands to hold the blades. Can I just buy the shock collars and use these in place of the rubber bands? Or do I need to buy all new broadheads?

Asked by: Alfred
The shock collars on these Rage Crossbow X Broadheads will not fit the older style Rage broadheads that used the rubber bands. The blade and ferrule design are different. To utilize the shock collars, you would need to buy new broadheads.

HOW DO YOU LOCK THE BLADES IN PLACE BEFORE SHOOTING

Asked by: HAYSEED
Rage broadheads, including Crossbow X Broadheads, use a shock collar retention system to keep blades closed until impact. On impact, the shock collar breaks away and completely deploys the broadhead. This system is used on all 2-blade Rage broadheads.

is the price list for one broad head or does it contain more?

Asked by: Robert
I believe you should have been answered as: It contains 3 broadheads and 1 practice tip.
