Housed in its 2.25-oz. body is a white Maxbright LED delivering 100 lumens of light output, and a powerful red Ultrabright LED for enhanced night vision.
Powered by 2 AAA alkaline or lithium batteries, the Byte Headlamp features a long, powerful spotlight great for night hiking or search and rescue. Its large, push-button switch is used to change the beam between high and low, and red and white LEDs. To switch between the LEDs, press and hold the button for 1-2 seconds.
The Byte includes a battery lockout, easily accessible battery door, and asymmetrical single-arm bracket. Rated equivalent to 1PX4 waterproof standards, able to resist water and short submerged time. If the headlamp is submerged for a long time, remove the batteries, inspect the cabinets for battery leakage, let the light dry out, and replace the batteries.
