Known for big waves as extreme as 70 feet, Peahi (pronounced "peh-AH-hee") on Maui's north shore is the inspiration behind the Maui Jim Peahi Sunglasses. Ideal for walking the shore or driving into the sunest, the Peahi's lens treatments and frames are saltwater-safe. The modified rectangular frame is made from a durable Grilamid polymer that is strong, yet lightweight and retains its shape. Oversized design with wide temples blocks wind and debris and features a flexible anti-corrosive spring hinge and a fixed, saddle-style bridge with embedded non-slip silicone nose pads. Best fits large faces. Maui Jim case and cleaning cloth included. Eye: 65mm; Bridge: 21mm; Temple: 125mm.
The high-tech lenses are made from durable, scratch-resistant ST (SuperThin) Glass that is 20% thinner and lighter than standard laminated glass lenses. Maui Jim's patented PolarizedPlus 2 technology is a color-infused lens that blocks 100% of harmful UV rays and reduces glare by 99.9%.
