The Coast FL78R USB Rechargeable Headlamp brings rechargeable element to the reliable FL series. Using Coast's Flex Charge Dual Power system, this light utilizes either lithium or alkaline batteries, or rechargeable Li-Ion pack via micro USB. A USB insert on the battery and tail cap allows for the recharging of the batteries either inside or outside of the light.
The first button is conveniently located on the headlamp's front, making it easy to operate the main light. Thanks to Coast's Pure Beam Focusing Optic with Twist Focus, with a simple twist users can shift between an Ultra Wide Flood Beam or Bulls-Eye Spot Beam with transition halo at varying distances and brightness. Creates a consistent circle of light up to 11.5' (3.5m) in diameter at 6' (1.8m) in distance. The first button is conveniently located on the headlamp's front, making it easy to operate the main light. It also allows the user to swiftly change between high, medium, and low light outputs. Offers 530 lumens of brightness and reaches up to 511' (156m) on high. On low, its 65-lumen output reaches up to 177' (54m).
The second button on the headlamp enables the user to switch quickly to a fixed red LED light to preserve night vision. Engineered with an IPX4 weatherproof rating, making it perfect for any rugged environment you may find yourself. Built with Coast's commitment to quality, the PX1R Flashlight is impact-resistant, weather-resistant and its LED is virtually unbreakable. The PX1R Flashlight is backed by Coast's lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Tested and rated to ANSI/FL1 standards.
