Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish they were a little thicker I purchased the risers because the water kept rotting my pontoon carpet. The risers went in easy, but had to get longer bolts(sort of expected that). Only problem was they sunk into the new carpet too far. Ended up putting a couple stainless steel washers under them to raise it higher(guess you could do that instead). However, I looked at some other pontoons that had the fence on the aluminum skirt and they worked very well. Just wish they had a little thicker ones for heavier carpet. Have heard of doubling them up, but that would make them much harder to install as they don't stack well. Overall not a bad product. Definitely a good Idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Have an 1997 pontoon boat and replaced the carpet about 5 years ago. I recently replaced the carpet with Deck Rite vinyl flooring and decided to use this product to reduce water trapping. Product was easy to install, leaves about a 1/4" space to allow water run off. I even placed these spacers under the seats and gas tank. Virtually nothing on my boat is touching the floor except for these spacers. After installation I hosed my boat off. The water and debris ran right out from under my seats, under the rails and off the boat. I didnt have to change the bolt length and my rails are 3/4', require a 2 3/4" bolt with about 1/2 left for nut and washer application..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happily - Exactly as expected I installed these on my Gillgetter compact pontoon. The rails on this pontoon are only 1" but the installation is still visually pleasing. I was able to use all of my existing hardware as there was enough screw length for the additional distance. Overall pleased with the installation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Carpet is good quality BUT,,,,,, about half of the rail mounting screws had damaged screws and threads and my local hardware store didn' carry anything like them so I had to buy all new screws. I was really disappointed with this. Otherwise everything else was as advertised. I would suggest that you get an extra bucket of glue. I had to stretch it out and would have preferred to lay a heavy layer of glue down. I'm giving this 3 stars because of the screws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These do the job lnicely I was installing a new deck on pontoon and was going to fabricate risers when I saw these online. So no brainer bought these instead. Saved a lot of my time and price was good too. I do not have carpet as my boat is more for fishing and partying and get a lot of mud and sand on board. Clean up with cut up gal. jug & mess go back in river.Perfect just what I wanted.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great carpet and package....poor quantities I bought this package to re floor my 20 foot pontoon. The carpet was great, easy to handle, and plenty of room on the sides to trim. However, there is only enough adhesive for half of the boat. I had to buy 2 more buckets. I also found it odd that the buckets were only 75% full upon arrival. Seems like some very poor calculations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They work like they say they should They work great but was three short... make sure you count how many you need before you order- it would be nice if you could order additional ones with out buying another full package. ended up making the last three out of plexiglass so I did not have 20 something of them laying on a shelf that I did not need

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is great and is easy to use I used this product when I redecked my pontoon. I used it on a 24 foot and one bag was enough to do all of the railings and the console. The products fit well and looked great and were easy to install. I needed to get longer bolts for some of the railings that were to short after installation.

Is there a thicker stand-off product that will porvide a talled spaceing? When I use the ones I have they are compressed into the carpet so much that there is still no air movement to dry out the carpet. Are they stackable?

Asked by: Rex
You can stack them with the flat sides together. (2 max) a drop of silicone sealer in between to keep them lined up.

what is the recomended distance between each riser?

Asked by: Shelly
It really does depend on how your fencing is sectioned being that it varies greatly in between boats. I would say 12 to 24 inches is a good gauge.
