Rated 5 out of 5 by from I get all the channel my Truck radio get I used to get about 5 channels on fm radio on my boat. I installed this and now get the same amount as my truck. 20+ channels. This works great, Highly recommend. I was a bit skeptic. I'm a true believer now and have recommended this to all my boater friends. Very, Very Happy. [$] for this and $35.00 for a 8'Pacific antenna and it's still less than one $120.00 Sheakespear Antenna! Pacific antenna and splitter works great!

Transmitting on VHF 144mhz at 50 watts, does this effect the am/fm radio receive? The unit would be off and not in use while using the HAM radio.  I have a 2 meter antenna on the roof and looking to use it also for a home stereo am/fm radio receive.
