Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value for the money I mounted these guides on a yaught club trailer. I am using this for a 14 ft. Sea Nympth alum. fishing boat. They function well and seem sturdy enough to last for a long time. Great to see made in USA for a change. They took about 1 1/2 hours to install and would have been faster except the washers sent with mine were too large and bound up against the mounts while tightening. After a little grinding on one side they fit well and are a big help loading the boat as I fish by myself quite a bit.I would recommend these guides as a marina gave me a quote of $200.00 dollars and I had less than half of that in these, and they were as good in quality and construction as what they offered me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product I have a trailer that has the wheels at the absolute rear allowing no room for mounting anything but the lights. The only possible place to mount them were in front of the fenders. Not only did I have doubts they would work well there, but thoughts of fabricating the hook up layed on my mind too. Boy was I wrong. They hit the boat exactly where they are needed and the universal mounting brackets allowed me to hook them up with ease. 10 min. and I was done. Rated this a 4 because I haven't put them to use yet, but as sturdy as they look, I'm sure they will get a 5.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised I was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the support tubes and mounting brackets...they fit my trailer perfectly. Before ordering however, my advice is to measure the 'trailer rail distance to the boat' to ensure their is enough adjustment to fit. Only con is the corrosion protection on the mounting brackets were sloppy and not completely covered. Also one bracket came bent and I had to hammer it flat in order for it to align with the holes on the corresponding bottom U bracket. The Guide Bunk fabric is heavy and very substantial. On a scale of 1-10 I give his product a 9 1/2 only because of the manufacturers lack of quality control. One last recommendation; I painted all parts with Rust-Oleum for more protection and to match my trailer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Product Made In USA!!!! This is a quality, very well made product. I had to mount them to the top of my EZ Loader trailer frame to clear the spray rails on my Lund WC-14 DLX boat. I also had to cut about 2" off of the mounting tubes to clear the bunks on the inside of my trailer. No big deal. Very solid, no rattles. These are a very nice match to my galvanized trailer and make loading my boat very easy, even for 1 person.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from tiedown.com poor quality product These guide on's worked well for one season. At the start of season 2, one of the "galvanized" Chinese metal supports started to rot and eventually cracked. I brought it to a welder who said the metal was too thin to weld as it was only 1/16th inches thick, and the arc would likely blast right thorugh it. He commented that for a boat guide-on applicaiton, it should have been at least 1/8" thick. Contacted the folks at tiedown.com who manufacture this product and they would not help me...stated I must go through Overtons special order dept to obtain replacement, which costs $45 (including a whopping $15 shipping charge). Since this was more than 1/2 of the original cost for an entire new set, I opted out. The rating is based on the quality of the materials and the poor customer support and uncaring attitude from the folks at tiedown.com. There are other options for guide on's from more reputable manufacturers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased so far! Put the bunks on a Loadrite trailer carrying a 16' v-bow Crestliner boat. Installed them in 45 minutes. Had to judge how close to the boat they should be, and had to get the angle right for the carpeted bunks, but went smoothly nonetheless. Materials are solid and well-made. Haven't used the boat yet, as it's only early March, but am sure it will make loading a lot easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works for me! I have a 17' Tracker / trailer combo I installed these on and it makes a one man outing a breeze now. I set them just far enough from the boat where you can just get your fingers in between and this works for me! Worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing I've bought for my boat These are absolutely the best thing I've ever bought for my boat. I have an older boat with an even older trailor that was a hassle to load. It was a 2 person job, with me getting wet, & took a few tries to get on, unless it was power loaded. Now that I have these on, my boat loads like a dream! Simply pull the boat up with the bow line & the back guides do the work for me, DONE. The only drawback at all was the bolts & washers that came with them. The washers were just a little too wide & the bolts were a little too short. A quick drive to the hardware store & I had them installed in about 30 minutes. I installed them about 1" away from the boat & they work great! The price was also the best I found. An absolute need for a boat trailor that has any issues at all loading, including loading on a windy day or rough water.

Hello Brian, Yes. The Bunkboard Guide-Ons will fit your 3" X 3" trailer. You can see on the attached PDF, that the bracket has holes for a wider trailer frame. http://www.overtons.com/assets/prodman/72483.pdf Thank you, Steve
