Lightweight, hot-dipped galvanized Fluke-Style Anchors are designed with strong, wide flukes for fast penetration and maximum holding power. Fully welded crown configuration provides the right angles for a secure hold. The Fluke-Style Anchor stows flat and can be used with most fluke-type anchor storage systems.

The #8 Fluke-Style Anchor Kit is designed for use in clean bottoms and varying surf and wind conditions. Kit contains one #8 anchor, one coil of 3/8" x 100' nylon anchor line with thimble, one coil of 5/16" x 6' galvanized chain, and two 5/16" galvanized shackles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great anchor for sandy bottom situations It comes with a LOT of rope, way more than we need for our typical anchoring locations. We cut the rope in half and seared the ends to use later. This is actually our 2nd of this exact anchor - if you’re lucky, you’ll find the one we didn’t tie off well at Crab Island. The fluke style plus chain digs in quickly and our pontoon stays put.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for new boat or freshening up an older one. Great way to rig out a new boat. Its not the premium stuff but it is good enough to last a season or 2. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Staying power...;) If you have never used this type of anchor before, plan on spending a few extra minutes learning how to get it to release for retrieval. No complaints on holding power, or ease of deploying. The kit that Overton's has assembled takes any guess work out of the purchasing process for newbs. Just be sure you learn how to use it before you drop it off into 30' of murky water! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works in the Potomac I purchased this anchor for my 24’ tri-toon that came with a free river anchor that would not work. I used this anchor near Tim’s Rivershore II restaurant during a small craft advisory on 2 May and it held bottom with no problem despite the wind and the fluctuating gusts of wind. So far this seems to be a quality anchor kit that works for my boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from #8 Fluke-Style Galvanized Anchor Kit The anchor kit was as desribed in the sales literature. I use this kit as a second anchor for the stern of my boat to hold it from swinging into other boats when anchoring near the beach. It seems to work well for this purpose. I have found no issues with the quality or design.

Will this one work with Windless?

Asked by: bisket
I guess it could depend on which model windless.
