Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Scope - Makes an Average Shooter Good!!! I purchased this scope in February for my new AR-15. I used Nikon mounts and the set up was a breeze to install. The clarity of this scope is incredible! Everything is sharp and bright. I slipped in my bore site laser and began siting it in. It adjusts easily and the 1/4 MOA per click knobs allows you to really dial the rifle in. Next, it was off to the range. After a few adjustments, the scope was spot on at 100 yards. Moved back to 200 yards and I was shooting nice 8" groups. Moved at to 400 yards and I was consistantly on target! Needless to say I am very happy with this scope and I doubt if you can get one better for twice the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Scope for my AR-15 Scope arrived on Saturday, went to Range on Sunday after church. initial shots was 11' high and to the right. the manual says the scope is 1/4MOA, however on the top Turrent it says 1/2MOA at 100 yards. so I clicked 22 times down and 4 clicks to the left. dead center. Bright clear glass, BDC easy to see not small like the Burris AR332. I like the turrents not too big like other review are stating. I recommend buying the Nikon spoton appt. The scope looks really nice on my Noveske Light Recce. The P series mounts are great, you do have two different size allen screws. It would be nice if Nikon made quick disconnect mounts. but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I mounted this scope on my "Brothers In Arms"(Tulsa OK) AR. My 16 yr old sighted the gun in and said " that's good enough for me". I thin ran 4 rounds at 100 yards with about a 5 mph cross wind. We were shooting 8" targets with a 2.5" 10 ring. The first three were in the 10 ring just outside the X dot. My last round was in the 8 ring, mostly because I was laughing at my son frustration of not hitting as well. I have another AR I am going to install another one of these on. The glass is the normal great Nikon clear glass and a very well made product. As usual for Nikon, another great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AR Scope Mounted the Nikon P-223 3x32 scope with Nikon P Series mounts onto my Colt LE6920, 16.1” barrel, had to remove the rear flip up sight, however the front site post did not interfere with the scope view. I was skeptical of the fixed 3 power with my old tired eyes but am very surprised at how good you can see with this scope. I did not want a big, long, bulky scope for the AR15. Easy to mount, easy to site in. This scope is only 8.1”, idea size for the AR15 platform. Once sighted in and zeroed to 100 yds., was able to use the zero-reset turret to dial into 200 yds. and 250 yds., easily and accurately. Now with this scope, I’ll be able to hunt with my AR and reload various loads for target and hunting and have the accuracy needed for close to long range shooting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P-223 3x32 BDC Scope: Alot for so little! I am so impressed with this optic I specifically came here to write this review. If you do your research, you will find that nowhere else can you get so many quality features on such a small package. This optic can actually out perform 3-9 riflescopes by other manufacturers. The glass itself is of the highest quality, making for a crisp and bright sight picture, the BDC allows this scope to transition into a long range shooter without any effort on your part, and is accurate at long ranges as well. As of this writing I own 2 of these scopes. Although it is designed for the 5.56/.223 I placed the second scope on a 7.62x39 and re-calculated my BDC ranges with 0 effort, and could not possibly be happier. Lightweight, compact, no need for batteries, and very sturdy construction. This could be the basis for a whole new classification of scopes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great scope for the price. I bought this to top my 5.45x39 AR. It's compact and the mounts are solid. It isn't a bullseye shooting scope but it's perfect for plinking, >400 yard hunting and personal defense. The zoom is enough to provide adequate accuracy at 400 yards while not so tight that you can't use it at 10 yards. At the 400 yard range I was able to hit 10 out of 10 shots on an 8 inch steel plate. At that distance you can't really hope for better because the cross hairs cover nearly 90% of the 8 inch target. That's 2 MOA and I'm as impressed with this scope as I am with the surplus Bulgarian ammo I was using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great price, perfect for me I'm new to scopes and AR15's, so I'm not an expert nor do I claim to be. having never shot with a scope before I didn't know what to expect but I was very pleased with this product thus far. easy to zero, easy to mount using the p series mount. if you're a hunter or competition shooter then this probably isn't the optic for you but if you shoot at a piece of paper for kicks and grins like me then don't hesitate to make the purchase. I shoot 75-100 feet and its perfect for me and what I use it for. I'm sure by now you've read a bunch of bad reviews about it from wannabe snipers, but if you're a "dummy" like me I'm sure you'll love it as I do. btw, my wife also shoots with me and once I mounted the scope I almost couldn't get my rifle out of her hands because she had so much fun shooting accurately with this "cheap" scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product at an excellent price This is my first Nikon scope, which I mounted to a 16 inch franken MSR that I just assembled. I have a Leupold Mark 4 to compare it too. It was easy to zero. Adjustments were precise and solid. I zeroed it at 200 yards and was able to test it at 100, 200, 300 and just under 400 yards using both turret adjustment for distance and the spot on technology hash marks. Ringing 10 inch steel at 1 MOA got boring. I am planning on a few more of these as possible substitutes for red dots.

will this fit a 30/ 06?

Asked by: BEARDOG
The reticle in this scope is specifically tuned for a rifle using a .223 Rem/5.56 NATO round with a 55-grain polymer tip bullet. It is not recommended for rifles chambered in any other caliber.
