I outfit our Elk hunting camp which is usually at or below 10,000 feet. There is a warning not for use above 7,000 feet for this product. Is there another Mr. Heater product you recommend?

    Asked by: The Pilgrim
There are no gas fueled heaters that work well at the higher altitudes. We are developing a higher altitude heater to be out next year, however. Many of the high altitude heaters are more expensive. We plan to hit a low price point as possible. Mr Heater

In a small ( 14' ) travel trailer is it mandatory to open a window for both safety and vent for the heater to operate, and will the heater shut off automatically if not enough air is sufficient?

    Asked by: bill
Yes, the Buddy series operate with an oxygen deficiency sensor that turns the heater off when not enough (15%) oxygen is present. Keep the alarms on. Use them to gauge how much ventilation to open for the heater and where to place. Rich Mr Heater
