Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm and comfy. Super bulky We tested this purchase in the Glaciers, under snow conditions and temperature in the 20s (maybe lower). Wearing a full layer, I slept super comfy so I would say the temp rating is accurate. Is is spacious and has extra room in the feet. Excellent comfort, good price. My big complaint is how bulky it is. It's really hard to put it into the sack. My husband bought the same model in the unisex version and, surprisingly, it is one pound lighter, significantly more compact and easy to fold. I have no idea why. So it would make more sense to buy the unisex version. He got the right zip, I got the female left zip and we could zip them together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm, but bulky. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a replacement for a 20 degree synthetic bag that I had from a different brand. It seemed really nice, but it did not pack down well at all and ended up being bulkier than my previous bag. I had checked the dimensions and pack size and weight but maybe it just didn't click for me until I actually had it. Took up all of my 38L pack, even when it was as small as I could make it with the included sack. It seemed pretty warm and probably would work well for car camping or a one-night backpacking trip. Anything more serious though... a little too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing comfort! I got this bag for an Alaska Hike in the Lake Clark NP & am still smiling! We had temperatures in the low 30's & rain for 4 of the 7 trail days & never slept cold or uncomfortable. It's a bit bulky for my 65 Litre pack, but the included compression sack compacted it down just great. The left full length-2 way zipper and the 1/4 zipper on the right , made this just as comfortable for the 40-50 degree temps at Isle Royale this past summer as well. My wife has the Trestle 15 women's short bag & is just as pleased with her bag as I am with mine! We're a Marmot family as our tent is a Marmot Aspen 3P (like the Limelight).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loads of room I'm 6'2" and weigh about 225 lbs. I've found most mummy bags are too tight around the shoulders and can't zipper up all the way. I took a chance on this bag since we already own the Halo 4 (excellent tent) and some Marmot winter clothing. My previous bags were from mountain equipment co-op,barrel cut. This is a good bag ,I use it for 3 seasons, early spring to late fall, mostly car camping. It's comfortable with a soft plush lining and loads of shoulder room, I'm a side sleeper and move around a lot and I can do it in this bag. Only drawback is that sometimes the zipper can snag on the draft lining, minor but a drag at 3 am. I'd recommend it and Marmot products in general.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm but packs big I bought this sleeping bag to go with my boyfriends men's 15 trestle. We sleep 12 nights conjoined through a variety of weather (80's and low 30's) in the Canadian Rockies. Overall I find this bag to be warm (conjoined or sleeping alone), but it weighs a lot compared to similar bags, and packs pretty large (even compared to the matching men's). I like the side zipper for extra venting and being able to fold down the top. Bottom line, it's a good bag, but I'll probably continue to use this bag for car camping, as it's just too bulky for backpacking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of all worlds!! GREAT bag. I've had for nearly two years now and still like new. I've use it with my ultralight three season tent in -20 and -10 truly testing the limits but always feel warm and cozy. My only issue is it doesn't pack as small as I'd like for multiday trips, but purchasing a compression bag helps. Overall, beyond amazing for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with my new Trestles 15. My new Trestles 15 appears to be made from high-quality materials and shows signs of careful workmanship. The zippers, zipper pulls and zipper backings look like they will last. I like the placement of the stash pocket on the outside the bag. I am 5'11", 215 lbs and a side-sleeper restless sleeper. I opted for the extra-wide long size and find it spacious - perhaps too long for me. I appreciate the shorter auxiliary zipper on the 'non-zipper' side for comfort and temperature regulation. I look forward to cooler weather to really try it out. Probably too large and perhaps a little heavy for backpacking. A great value. Stoked. Yep. Stoked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot Trestles This is the 5th Trestles I've bought for my family. It's just the right compromise on weight, warmth, and cost for high alpine trips into the Beartooth Mountains. All of them have been used in expedition weight tents, so they have been easily warm enough. This year I bought a Marmot Force ultralight backpacking tent and put my Trestles to the test of its limits. It performed admirably even with the drafty nature of ultralight tents. We had a couple of windy nights down into the 30's, which get a laugh from expedition weight 4-season tents, but I mummy'ed up in my Trestles 15 and was amazed at the comfort, roominess, and functionality!! I wouldn't still be buying them and on number 5 if it weren't for the great performance.
