Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm, but bulky. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as a replacement for a 20 degree synthetic bag that I had from a different brand. It seemed really nice, but it did not pack down well at all and ended up being bulkier than my previous bag. I had checked the dimensions and pack size and weight but maybe it just didn't click for me until I actually had it. Took up all of my 38L pack, even when it was as small as I could make it with the included sack. It seemed pretty warm and probably would work well for car camping or a one-night backpacking trip. Anything more serious though... a little too big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing comfort! I got this bag for an Alaska Hike in the Lake Clark NP & am still smiling! We had temperatures in the low 30's & rain for 4 of the 7 trail days & never slept cold or uncomfortable. It's a bit bulky for my 65 Litre pack, but the included compression sack compacted it down just great. The left full length-2 way zipper and the 1/4 zipper on the right , made this just as comfortable for the 40-50 degree temps at Isle Royale this past summer as well. My wife has the Trestle 15 women's short bag & is just as pleased with her bag as I am with mine! We're a Marmot family as our tent is a Marmot Aspen 3P (like the Limelight).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of all worlds!! GREAT bag. I've had for nearly two years now and still like new. I've use it with my ultralight three season tent in -20 and -10 truly testing the limits but always feel warm and cozy. My only issue is it doesn't pack as small as I'd like for multiday trips, but purchasing a compression bag helps. Overall, beyond amazing for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Marmot Trestles This is the 5th Trestles I've bought for my family. It's just the right compromise on weight, warmth, and cost for high alpine trips into the Beartooth Mountains. All of them have been used in expedition weight tents, so they have been easily warm enough. This year I bought a Marmot Force ultralight backpacking tent and put my Trestles to the test of its limits. It performed admirably even with the drafty nature of ultralight tents. We had a couple of windy nights down into the 30's, which get a laugh from expedition weight 4-season tents, but I mummy'ed up in my Trestles 15 and was amazed at the comfort, roominess, and functionality!! I wouldn't still be buying them and on number 5 if it weren't for the great performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sleeping bag! Bought this just before a trip out to Washington in the fall. I am 5’6” and 120L and had no issues with being cold in temps around 35-40°. Also the bag was plenty long for me with still about 2-3” of room to spare (I bought the regular length bag). I did try this bag out when the temp was right around 30° and did get a little chilly (could have probably been fixed if I had a liner to go with the bag). I do wish it could compress just a little more but it does have a nice compression bag that comes with it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cooler weather bag for a good value!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly Recommend My roommate and I each bought this sleeping bag for a camping trip in the Upper Peninsula in September. Temperatures dropped to the low 30's and we stayed very warm and dry. Very compact, convenient pockets for phones/small belongings, full zippers. We both highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow, I made the right decision! This is my first ever sleeping bag. I love it. I spent so many nights freezing in 30-50 degree weather borrowing other's sleeping bags. I'm not cold at those temps in this bag and sleep so well. One night got down in the 20'sF and I didn't even know until the next morning when the sun woke me up. So I did good buying this bag. Super well made and the high 70Denier fabric is extremely durable and water resistant. Thank you Marmot. You rock! I'm buying another one for my daughter. Since we live in the 'rain forest' of the MidAtlantic Coast, a synthetic bag is required for warmth and comfort. I don't compress this bag, but instead, bought a big 75Liter backpack so I can just stuff it straight into a 55 gallon trash bag, and then into the bottom of the backpack. Compression ruins a bag in the long run. Plus, it is so quick and easy to do. Yep, get a bigger pack and do it right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept me warm all night [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were on a camping trip, and I was afraid I would be cold throughout the night. This sleeping bag kept me warm all night and slept very well!
