Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finest kind for the dollar... These are great; I cinch the pant leg up on them to ride the bike; and they stay in the pack in case I get a seasonal weather snap.  Roll up into the bag that comes with them; about 3" x 6".  No complaints.  I could go on about stuff that they could use better ( no, they are not laminated three layer Gore-tex; and they are not $250 either, duh ), but if I really wanted to make them better for biking; I'd have a tailor sew some velcro on them; then I would not need to cinch the right leg for biking.   All things considered; a great pant at a wonderful price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good stuff Bieszczady mountains. Winter. Deep in the woods, deep in the snow. I was working with some lumber for a few days and wore these pants to stay dry. And I did. The pants were so useful I didn't have to wear my gaiters. Also I didn't sweat at all. Maybe if it was summer, hard to say... What's more, the material didn't show any signs of abuse. It just got a bit dirty, that's all. Putting them on/off is easy and fast. They weigh nothing and take not a lot of space when rolled down. Considering the price, I don't think one can get any better. I just would like to ask Marmot to make a shoelace hook and improve waist regulation, so that the pants could stay more firmly on a man. I had to stop every now and then to make things right. Besides that, I'm really impressed with these pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, flexible, breathable I used them 3 days in the mountains doing backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering. I needed some winter over pants to be light and flexible (some become rigid in low temperatures), suitable for high paced activities. These pants are exactly what I was looking for. Though making some effort in snow, I did not notice any trace of condensed sweat on the inner side. One thing I did not like: I bought size S, I am slim but not skinny, yet the waist is too large and cannot be adjusted. They tend to slip down. Maybe I will use another pair on rugged terrain (sharp rocks or ice), as these are really thin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hiked Mountains, Commuted by Bike year-round Spent the extra dollar to get these pants for the full-zip... ...Ended up with the best pair of weatherproof pants I've worn to date. I gave them a three as I wanted them to be more durable. I"ve used them to hike fourteener's and commute by bicycle in the rain and snow; perhaps now I'll just study squirrels? Nothing left to do after figuring out what pants to wear to keep out the elements...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 pairs - BOTH de-laminated. Otherwise a good pant I really wanted to like these pants. They have great potential, but somehow Marmot dropped the ball on this one, with regards to quality. I am 6' tall and approx. 175 lbs. I typically wear a 33" waist. I purchased these pants to use for snowshoeing in the winter, and for hiking in the warmer months. I purchased the medium and the large. The medium fit just a tad smaller than I like, but would be fine for summer use over lightweight pants or shorts. The waist was just right. The large fit better for winter use over a layered pant system, but the waist was just a bit too loose, and there is not enough adjustment to tighten them to where they would not fall down. Pros: Lightweight Water-proof Pockets Full zips work good Cons: Limited adjustment in waist Elastic around ankle cuff seems a bit weak Both pairs started to de-laminate in the crotch after only ONE hike. Hence my 2-star rating. Returned because of this. If these pants did not de-laminate, I would give them a 3 or 4 star rating. Probably 3 stars, considering the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These have performed great so far. I was concerned that they would be too thin for SAR work - bushwhacking through brambles and devil's club - but so far they've held up just fine. The full-length zip makes it easy to quickly put on and take off. Pockets are nice. Relatively light and cool. My only gripe is that the velcro tabs above the zippers come loose easily, but that's minor. Some belt loops might be useful...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rain suit Brought the suit for golf and couldn't be happier. Great fit, trim with ample flex for a full swing. You might want to consider adding some. Color to you line , would attract more golfers.
