Additional Information
Light as a feather no longer applies! Marmot helps redefine the phrase with the Featherless Full-Zip Hoodie. Revolutionary 3M Thinsulate Featherless insulation - equal to 700-fill power - is designed to closely mimic the look and performance of natural down with two times the loft when wet and without the allergens. This unique, loose-fill synthetic insulation is every bit as lightweight as natural down, breathes easily, and provides extreme warmth for extreme conditions. Elastic binding at the attached hood, sleeve cuffs, and drawcord-adjustable hem helps seal in body heat and further keep out the cold. Angel-Wing Movement allows a full range of motion in the arms so the jacket doesn't ride up. Zip-secure hand pockets and an interior stuff sack zip pocket offer convenient storage for all your essentials. 100% nylon double mini-ripstop fabric. Regular fit. 26.5" center-back length. Weight: 0.8 oz. Imported.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok mid layer. So I’ve had the jacket for about 2 months. I got the jacket because I wanted something light to pack. It was between this and TNF thermolball hoodie. I don’t like the way the thermolball lost its puffiness, as people I know people at work have them. I also didnt want to wear what everyone else was wearing, so I decided on the marmot. It is a warm jacket as soon as you put it on your can feel it trap heat. Also the hoodie works well with a hat. Con: Spring time here in Colorado is mostly rain & sleet. It does and ok job of repealing sleet but once it turns into liquid I definitely felt and drop come through the sleeve. If

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and Warm! I bought this a few months ago as I live in Alaska and winters here are rather cold. So far I am incredibly pleased with it! Its lightweight and warm during the dry cold spells and it's thick enough and doesn't allow and wind through it. I can wear it outside at -20 and be warm for hours. Its wonderfully made and has held up amazing so far. I bought a large and it fits great! It has just enough room to fit a sweatshirt underneath if you want but it also fits great and looks good as is. I am very happy with this jacket and recommend it to anyone wanting an everyday warm winter jacket. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday jacket I love this jacket and it has become my "daily wear" coat for winter time. I have been a huge fan of high quality 800 down fill jackets for their extremely lightweight mass, packability, and extraordinary warmth. The "down" side (lol) of that type of jacket, though, is that is doesn't do well with water, and can sometimes be too hot. This Marmot jacket is substantialy heavier than down, so I wouldn't want to take it on an ultralight backpacking trip, but I've come to appreciate it's heavier weight for daily wear where weight isn't such an issue. It also is a bit less warm than a real down jacket, and again, that has been nice for daily wear. It looks and feels nice, I do recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ducks and Geese Love it, Too! Fit is great; color is great, packability is awesome. It's softness rivals down and no ducks or geese were bothered in the process. It regulates your body temp well and I've been comofortable in just a tshirt with this in the low 50s. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Featherless is Fabulous I bought this hoody to compare the new technology to previous down versions of the same jacket. This time I included the hood and am delighted that I did because without it my neck always became cold and I had to wear a neck gaiter or scarf. The jacket itself is lightweight and plenty warm. It also blocks the wind which is critical to all my purchases. The wind is the demon in becoming cold. So I am thoroughly pleased with the purchase and recommend it highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing jacket! This jacket is the best light weight jacket I've owned. It is incredibly warm for it's weight and highly wind resistant which is a huge positive. Many other light puffy jackets that I've owned were warm as long as there was no wind, but the featherless stays warm even in strong winds. The hood fits nice and snug and adds significant warmth. I have larger lats and typically have a problem with shirts and jackets fitting tight across the upper back area. The featherless is a bit snug, but it hasn't been an issue. I'm 5'10" and 165 with a 31" waist and tried a large and a medium and went with the medium. The large was much too big in the stomach area and the medium fits great. Overall I love this jacket and it is by far the best warmth to weight ratio I've experienced in a synthetic. I agree with the claim that it's equal to 700 down, but stays warm when wet. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very solid jacket This jacket is a good for late fall and early winter, and with a fleece underneath can handle some pretty chilly temperatures. I've been very pleased with it. It's flexible for when I'm shoveling snow, seems to breathe well, and the hood wears well and doesn't get in the way when it's not being used. I haven't had any issues with any of the zippers; no issues at all, as a matter of fact. I'm 6-2, 215 pounds, and the XL fits me well with some leeway for wearing heavier layers or a fleece underneath when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality jacket from inside out Outside of being so stylish what impresses me most about this jacket is its versatility. I've worn it now in 30 degree weather and 70 degree weather and it all feels the same to me. I've struggled finding good jackets in the past, mainly because I sweat so easily. The breathability of this jacket has made it an easy choice not just to stay warm as well as staying dry but for going out and being as active as I am with it. Best jacket I've had yet.
