Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safety first In a situation where there is a possible safety issue, it is a great feeling to have this attached to my kayak. Tried it out in my yard before I put it on my kayak. Worked great and easy to use. Has directions sewn onto the cover. Great item for those "just in case" times

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works Better for Less Money Costs half as much as bags using heavier, clumsier line; those other bags might be more appropriate for larger craft. Orange bag easily spotted. Perfect for canoes & kayaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Life line rescue bag I like the idea of this item, and have had one on my boat for about 5 years and the sun finally just ate up the container (bag) causing it and the strap holding it to the boat to rot, hence my second purchase. I believe that it should last a bit longer. Perhaps a different material or a treatment to protect it from the sun. Do they make sunblock for bags? Not old bags like me, but material bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful product for any boater [...] Once received, my wife and I tested it out in our driveway and were very pleased with it. We've always been safety-minded, and feel that every boat should have a product such as this on board. We wondered why we hadn't purchased a product like it sooner!

The Kwik Tek Life Line Rescue Throw Bag is not Coast Guard Approved. It does not provide buoyancy. To be Coast Guard Approved the throwable device must provide at least 16.5 pounds of buoyancy.
