Rated 1 out of 5 by from My feet are crying at the end of the day I've owned these boots for about a year and I can honestly say that they are the worst work boots I've ever owned. I can't get them off my feet fast enough when I get home. At the end of the day my knees hurt, my heels hurt, my legs in general hurt, but only when I wear these. I started wearing my old non steel toe work boots any day that I know I won't see the boss and it's a world of difference. I would almost rather cut my feet off than have to wear these for another minute. I would rate them zero stars if it would let me. I will say this for them... They never wear out. They are still in awesome shape physically.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Falling apart just outside of warranty. I bought these boots in January and they're already on the way out! I've been a mechanic for 20 years and Redwing has been my brand since the beginning. I've always taken great care of my work boots. This is my third pair, (I had the first 2 resoled many times!) After only 7 months, the side of the upper ripped where the aluminum toe protection meets the sole. Also, if you notice, the welt is cracking in multiple places..I don't know what that's all about. I'm pretty disappointed honestly. Hopefully I can patch it in some way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I hate wearing these boots These boots are unnecessarily heavy and painful to wear. I can't keep up with my coworkers when I wear these boots. Luckily, I don't have to wear these boots all day, only for certain activities. So I keep them in the locker or under my desk and I wear my sneakers the rest of the shift. They are at least waterproof. Just don't buy them... you'll be miserable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made without bells and whistles I'm about to buy my second pair of 6" Farmingtons with aluminum toe. After five+ years of regular use working on my property after work and weekends the soles started to fall off of both boots at about the same time. I like that there is no sweating on a hot day like an insulated boot, and they stay dry anyway unless I spend a long time in deep water. Can wear them all day on uneven terrain without blisters or sore feet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Durable and look nice. Been wearing these for work around the house, construction, and to the office for about 3 years. The welt is still tight, the leather heel reinforcing is not worn through, no stitching has unraveled or abraded, the hardware is still straight and solid, soles have a lot of miles on them and plenty more to go. The insole went flat/hard fairly quickly, but I've never had a pair of boot that didn't get Dr Scholls inserts soon. The surface lacerates and abrades a little easier than I would like, but they stay solid and they look nice enough to wear to the office when they've got a fresh coat of wax. They clean up easily with a stiff nylon brush and I haven't managed to discolor them with anything yet. The welt ends have a bigger gap than I would like but they stay waterproof in moderate splashing around in puddles. Don't know that they would be standing in an inch or two of water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable The last 3 pair of steel toed boots I bought were these. Work in the construction industry and I'm always up on my feet. First pair lasted 3yrs sole split where you bend at your toes. The 2nd pair I used for 3 yrs nothing really wrong with them they just don't have any tread left. The 3rd pair just starting to get broke in and they feel great as always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little heavy The boot is of good quality you just need some days to break them in. They were a bit stiff and heavy the first couple of days. But after a few weeks they feel comfortable. The sole could could use some grooves for traction they are very smooth.
