Additional Information
The Irish Setter Men's Crosby 6" Work Boot arrives ready for the day with several featured technologies packed into one boot. ArmaTec technology is a protective covering that is abrasion-resistant, working to preserve the life of your boot. 157 non-metallic safety toe protection keeps foot safe. Electrical hazard protection meets the ASTM F2413 standard rating. UltraDry construction combines moisture-management lining with waterproof components, bringing you long-lasting comfort and performance from your boot.

What else makes the Crosby unique is that its outsole has been identified as HRO - meaning it is heat-resistant to melting at a minimum of 475-degrees. StableFlex technology ensures you stay comfortable by increasing the flexibility with cement construction in the forefoot and a welted stable platform in the heel. CuShin Comfort tongue technology strives to minimize pressure on your shin you may feel from the top of the boot tongue. Its four-way stretch nylon brings relief and flexibility when you're walking, alongside internal padded waffle mesh. Strategically placed EnerG material brings a high-end athletic show feel to your sturdy boot, to keep your steps energized throughout the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot I work in an industrial area and these boots are fantastic. They seem to hold up to everything I throw at them. The only issue I have is I cannot seem to keep them tied. The only way I can keep them tied is if I crank down on the laces to the point of almost cutting circulation off to my feet. So, every couple of hours I just stop and retie the boots. I don't know if it is the laces or what. To me, that is not a big deal. It gives me a reason to stop, if only for a minute to take care of the laces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another cracked sole review First off I live in a colder climate and I try to buy the “best” of what I need so I can do my job properly. Maybe these boots were made for a city slicker? These soles are HARD, meaning every pebble you walk on is super loud and The lack of ice traction is scary. Tons of tread left now, but the soles are cracked so badly it feels weird to walk in them. I am a trucker, so it’s not like I am out using these boots in a super harsh environment. Out in the cold for 10 minutes then back in the cab with warm heat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sole Failed Me Bought these as home boots that I could wear to work as back ups. Got them in the winter to wear to shovel snow and do outdoor activities etc.. The soles were so hard they were more like ice skates so they have little use in the snow or ice. After about a month and hardly any wear the soles developed large cracks in them on each shoe across the bottoms through the rubber traction portion. Comfortable, but not suited for winter and the soles disappointed me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for Slippery Surfaces I work outdoors a lot with wet and icy conditions and these boots slip on everything. I have been falling all over this winter. Prior to this pair of boots I had the True Hiker and they were very good on slippery surfaces. These boots are very durable and very comfortable. Works great for dry surfaces. The lace hooks are also kind of small and the laces come loose often. I will recommend them for a work boot though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality Comfort is not bad but the boots feel cheap. The sole is very hard does not grip to the ground. Not sure what happened to this model. I've been a faithful red wine buyer for over 15 years. I decided to try a different style. Bad choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot yet I had a great experience with this boot. Switched from a different boot manufacturer which lasted about 1 year and tried these out for the first time. Very sturdy for me, lasted over a year and a half with no issues. I finally had to call it because the laces were starting to fray around the speed hooks but still good amount of tread left. Not the best in terms of non-skid but very comfortable. Going to try a second pair since the newest brand boots I was testing failed within the first 4 months of light use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t buy from them again Only about 5 months in and these boots aren’t even wearable anymore. I do light maintenance and these boots shrunk to the point where I can’t even fit my foot inside, completely curled up. The sole is also cracking by the toe. I was hoping this boot would at least last me the year. “Durable boot” almost seems laughable at this point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot from Irish setter/red wing I’ve worn this boot for 3 years now I buy a new pair every year since work pays for them once a year.!.! But this year I waited a year an 7 months to get a new pair and they looked and work just fine the insole is the only thing that’s worn out thinking of switching out the insoles form my new pair and wearing the old pair longer.!.! I’ve worn a few pairs of red wings through my life and this is the best.!
