Features
Henry's Lever Action .30-30 was built with the deer hunter in mind. Like its predecessors, it's both lightweight (just 7 to 8.3 pounds) and maneuverable (39″ long)—the perfect combination for hunting in dense timber and heavy brush. With its select American walnut stock and forearm, it is a masterpiece of finely crafted gunsmithing. The .30-30 Brass has a visually impressive 20″ octagonal barrel paired with a handsome brass receiver and brass barrel band. The sights are a traditional brass bead front with an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The receiver is drilled and tapped for a Weaver 63B mount, so scope mounting is easy. The magazine holds five rounds that chamber quickly and smoothly thanks to Henry's crisp, perfectly machined action. Like every Henry rifle, it's 100% American made.

Love this rifle
I own many firearms and several are 30-30 level action rifles. My Marlin 336C 30-30 was my favorite however my new Henry H009B now is.
I sighted it in at 50 yards and 100 yard. At 50 yards with iron sights I got a silver dollar grouping. At 100 yards with only the iron sights and got a 3.5 inch group (most likely shooter error) .
I installed a Nikon BDC scope and at 100 yards I got a 1.5 inch group. At 200 yards I got a 1.75 inch grouping. I have read in several gun magazines that level action rifles are not as accurate as semi or bolt action rifles. That may be true but you couldn't tell it that by this rifle.
The next time I take this out to shoot and I will go out to 300 and 400 yards to see what it will do.
This rifle has a great Walnut stock, brass receiver is flawless, the octagonal barrel is nice, heavy and fit and finish is top notch.
I like the Henry so much that I am thinking about buying a .44 mag or a .357 rifle.
You can't go wrong with this rifle...of course, like anything else it is all in what you like.

Is this rifle made in Rice Lake, Wisconsin?
No. According to Henry's website, the Rice Lake facility makes only the Henry rifles with steel frames. The brass-framed rifles are made in their Bayonne, New Jersey facility.
