Works Great!!
I lost a 150.00 aluminum ladder that fell off my boat in Lake Norman. I bought this grappling hook to retrieve the ladder which was in about 15-20 feet of water...On the 5th cast off my pontoon boat, I hooked the lost ladder. I had locked the GPS coordinates in so I went right to the spot where I lost it. 5 minutes and it was back on board...

Grapple hook did the trick
Used it to hook cut brush debris that got into farm pond, floated away from bank, and had to be retrieved. Once hooked, the debris was pulled to side and out of pond. Hook prongs could have been larger for this purpose, but they were strong and did not bend under pressure.

Innovative and Reliable
This is a very useful, innovative product. Appears to be very durable and made for years of service too. It works just as described keeping the boat where you want it, and reduces the clutter of extra dock lines on the dock.

Grapple Buddy does what it says
I have a 21' pontoon outboard. Grapple Buddy worked well to get it to shore without the engine. It's light and ready to go, rope & all. It does what it says.

We do not have that information unfortunately because it is not rated as an anchor, it is actually to assist you getting your boat to shore by throwing the grapple and pulling yourself over.
