The FNS-9 Longslide has been tested in every type of major shooting event, from high speed IPSC/USPSA and grueling 3-gun matches to precision bullseye and actions events like the NRA Bianchi Cup. The 5" FNS Longslide barrel is
made of cold hammer-forged stainless steel with a polished chamber and feed ramp. The slide itself is made of stainless steel with front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded chamber indicator.
The checkered polymer frame comes with two interchangeable backstraps and lanyard eyelets. All operating controls are fully ambidextrous for ease of use with either hand and from any shooting position. The MIL-STD 1913 under-frame rail accepts tactical lights and lasers. This model has no manual safety.
