Additional Information
Born from Eureka’s legacy of building tents for the Armed Forces, the Down Range Solo Tent is a descendant of the TCOP and Combat paramilitary tents. A true backcountry warrior, this 2-pole rectangular dome is constructed from a 8.5mm DAC Featherlite aluminum frame. Clip attachments, as well as post and grommet corner attachments with locking end tips make setup quick and easy. Two large U-style doors - constructed entirely from no-see-um mesh - roll up and out of the way when not needed. Sizable mesh panels allow maximum airflow, and a poke-out vent in the fly has zippered access via the mesh roof cloth. The bathtub floor wraps up the sides of the tent to protect against splashing rain. Two interior storage pockets keep your essentials safe and secure. Four storm guy-outs on the fly. Style#: 2629340.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tent So far all I’ve done is spend one night in the backyard. The setup was easy and the tent seems very well made. There was a lot of condensation on the rain fly from dew and a lot on the inside from me but none of it made it inside. The only thing I noticed was a little moisture on the bottom edges of the tub head and foot of the tent. I let the tent dry out and packed it up which was also a breeze. I live in Washington so I plan on spending a night in it while it’s raining to see how it does. I ordered the foot print for it and will wait for that before I do the rain test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rugged! I waited to review this tent until I had actually used it and I am very satisfied with it. Design, construction and materials are of high quality. It's easy to set up and take down. It was rock solid in winds and rain. No condensation issues at all. It's heavy, but I think it's going to be durable and will take hard usage. It's definitely a solo - room for pad, bag, clothes, a little gear, but the two vestibules help a lot. Two doors and two vestibules on a solo tent is an amazing and convenient feature! The ONLY quibble I have with the Down Range is that the rainfly ends about two inches above the integrated vestibule floor and rain can drip down and pool in the vestibule. Tarp clips can easily solve this, however. The integrated floor is a really nice, though, and goes a long way in keeping your gear dry and clean. In my opinion, the Solo is a little gem - can't make a mistake with this one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little heavy, but Very Nice! I bought this tent to use as a 4 season tent. I live in the south, and this tent is perfect for my winter season. I have used the tent only one night, but I was very happy with it's size and liveability. I did experience some condensation, but that is to be expected in the valleys of KY.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Consider this one! I wanted a solo for compactness in travelling and a 'warmer' tent without having to pay for a 4 season. Features I LIKE about this tent: Compactness. Yes, it is a solo, but the fly offers more roominess; it extends approx.20" beyond the tent and has a floor. (how will this function in the rain?) I like that it has two doors. I especially like that each door has the option of zipping down for mesh only or zipping up and enclosing yourself with additional tent material from sandy, windy, snowy conditions and warmth. I was in all three conditions in the Nevada area and this tent performed well. (no rain). NO LIKE: The fly has two vents. Nice? No. To get circulation from ur tent, you have to unzip the doors of the tent from the top and bottom (and try to keep ur sleeping bag from covering it) to allow ventilation to the fly area and outside. This vent system should be better. I still got condensation. Oooh, if I had a dream!...I wld have this tent with vents above my sleeping area (you shld still keep the fly vents) AND a plastic viewing partition that matched viewing in the fly! I would feel so comfy as I viewed the elements swirling about outside or just watch the stars....and being thankful for being able to camp and for Eureka tents....The only downer is the vent system. But you can circumvent it. I would I recommend this tent. I like the addtl warmth factor and rugged material. Gratzi When the tent gurus redesign, I'd welcome ur email telling me you'd gladly switch my current with the new!! Peace Out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best one person tent money can buy!! I'm 6' 1" 260lbs and I fit in this thing perfectly with room to spare to roll around. A little bit on the heavy side, but its tough. I like the fact it has 2 doors and an option of just leaving the mesh windows up. Awesome tent!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this tent! I purchased this tent for my son, who is crossing over into Boys Scouts from Cub Scouts. He loves this tent. It is rugged and reliable. I am sad to see that it is being discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could not be happier! I took this on a cold weather camp out and it kept me totally warm and dry! It rolled up nicely to fit into my backpack. Very pleased with this product!
