DuraSafe introduces its newest addition to the Coupler Connect Series of products, the Coupler Protect. This patented trailering safety device provides peace of mind when towing a trailer by preventing the coupler from accidentally popping off the tow ball. Trailer disconnect accidents happen without warning and are extremely dangerous. Couplers not properly secured, equipment failure, mismatched ball and coupler, and rough road conditions can all contribute to an accidental uncoupling.
DuraSafe Coupler Protect has a unique design that keeps the trailer connected to the tow ball, even when a mishap takes place. It offers incremental height adjustments to fit all coupler styles and fits a standard 1" diameter ball shank. Coupler Protect also doubles as a step for easy truck bed access and can be used as a security device when a lock is used in place of the included locking pin.
