Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Classic Gun This gun has been around and for years has received good reviews since its inception. It is no wonder. It's powerful, cheap, accurate and has many third party modifications available. If you are going to put a scope on it forgo the scope mounts that clamp to the barrel. Get the steel breech instead. It is only $29 direct from Crosman. I put the Gamo Varmint Hunter on the steel breech and made burl wood handles for it. It really looks good now. After you sight it in, the laser makes shooting a real no brainer. Use decent pellets for accurate shoot up to 30 yards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from She is a blast but the real fun is in the mods I'll start with the bad. Negatives; croaks like a frog when you cock it, front plastic sight was bent and plastic grips and stock feel cheap. Positives; once you get it sighted in it's very accurate, powerful and highly moddable. Had this for awhile before I realized the mod community has made so many great upgrades for this puppy. For the price of all the mods together you could easily buy a much nicer gun, but that's hardly the point. If you're a tinkerer like me you take pleasure in customizing something to make it unique and more powerful. Here's a few mods you can buy; steel breach, longer barrel (up to 24"), change caliber, piston upgrade, 2 stage trigger, scopes or dot sights, wood stock and grips, muzzle brake (silencer), new hammer and springs, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pistol and Lots of Fun I have had this Pellet pistol only a few weeks. I have put a few hundred pellets through it in the Man Cave. I usually pump it 3 or 4 times for target practice and that appears to give it sufficent velocity. I am amazed by the accuracy of this air pistol. I have tried 3 different pellets and it likes them all. It is cheap to shoot with 500 pellets for less than $5. I think this is an excellent tool to improve anyone's marksmanship with a pistol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic bargain! This gun provides me with excellent target practice in my own back yard. I only recently started shooting firearm pistols last year. (I own a RUGER MKIII pistol.) Thanks to my CROSMAN 1377, I can practice shooting at cans and paper targets all day long in my back yard during those days I cannot go to the range. This practice definitely helps me when I go to the range to shoot my RUGER MKIII. My overall assessment: Excellent pellet gun; excellent price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 15 years old and still going I use this air pistol for plinking, target shooting, squirrel and rodent control. It works great. It always works. I really don't do any cleaning or maintenance. I just spray it down with WD-40. It just keeps on going. I drilled out the rear peep sight and made it like a ghost ring sight. That works good for me. I think this is a great gun for the money.

would there be a way to repair the seals if pumped too much?

Asked by: j-j
Yes. The gun can be dismantled very easily with sum key screws. Its a good practice with any weapon to know how to take apart and clean/ repair it after u purchase. Seals can be ordered by factory or hardware store.
