Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most versatile grill I have ever used. This is the most versatile grill I have ever used. Here is what I like: The grill stand isn’t required to use the grill making it smaller and lighter to transport, and it works well on a picnic table or tailgate. You can use small gas cylinders or a 20lb propane tank. You can use any combination of griddle, grill, and stove-top you want, and cast iron versions are available. I made my own one piece stainless steel griddle that covers the whole top. The grill cooks well and is easy to control, but it does cook fast, I believe that is due to the low profile cover, there isn’t a lot of area to heat under the grill cover. Cons: I think drippings could be dealt with better. My biggest complaint with the grill is the cover, the slits in the cover allow rain water into the grill. They should have louvers in the cover instead of slits to keep the water out. It’s a PAIN to clean out if it fills with water, and you can’t throw a tarp over it if it’s hot. Plan on cooking under a canopy if it’s raining.
