Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I installed this on a mid-90s Astro Bass/Ski boat. The spacing was tight in the bass boat but by installing the angles next to the air scuppers I was able to easily position and mount the fittings. I don't have a bass boat seat base so I simply drilled the aluminum fill plate and filled the extra space under the fill plate with a couple pieces of wood. The metal is quite attractive and seems as strong as needed. I really appreciate the simple, durable construction and well-fitting parts. It looks real cool on my boat. Now it no longer looks like a fishing boat, it looks like a kick butt ski boat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pylon, will work with any boat tha Great pylon, will work with any boat that has some type of rear deck with a 3/4" pedistal base. It says not for tubes, but as long as it is mounted correctly, you could tow a bardge with it. Gives an extra lift for the knee and wake boarder and a smooth swing for the skier and tuber. Had one before, but didn't have the free spin coller, that makes the world of differance on the rope and skier and its tall so it will work with any outboard when used on a deck. Great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product I have a Javilin 363FS and was afaid to purchace this product because I wasn't sure if it would fit on my boat. I found out very shortly that it not only fit but fit as discribed and was back in the water after 20 minutes of install and clean up. I love this tripod it has made tubing and skiing alot more enjoyable for me as a driver and for my family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked great on our deck boat. We installed this on our Fisher deck boat and are very pleased with it. It was easy to install and comes off quickly for storage. Our issue was the low tow point for wakeboarding and kneeboarding. We have a rear casting deck so this seemed like a better choice than other pylons. It's rock solid and everybody enjoys the water sports a lot more now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bass Boat Ski pylon [...] that products I have bought have all been excellent, this ski pole is great because i can remove it in about 2 min but it is also very strong and lightweight. I can take it apart and put it in storage in 2 min or less same way about putting it back on. The only downfall of this product is that the installation instructions aren't that great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would recommend this We bought this in time for Labor Day weekend. Installation was a snap. We have a Triton bass boat and it worked perfectly on it. We were on the water all weekend, tubing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding, and everyone agreed it was great. The top could be improved for when you want to pull 2 people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! Just bought a Bass/Ski combo boat and this pylon is perfect. Had no problems installing and it pulls a wakeboarder/skier great. I'm a 220lb guy so If it can hold me, it can hold about anybody.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed Good solid construction. However, the stainless steel washers used with the clevis pins are extremely thin and will curl up if you apply too much pressure, so don't overtighten.

Will this ski pylon work on a 1999 Bass Tracker??

Asked by: Trackerman
This item will work on your 1999 Bass Tracker, but it requires a 3/4" pin type base plate that is not included. If you have this base plate on your boat, this pylon will work excellently. If not, check out items #12538, #18746, or #18747 for pylons that don't require this base plate.

will the ski pole fit a 2001 pro craft fish and ski 17 foot with the hole already in the boat, thanks mike

Asked by: spaztic
If the hole that is already there is a standard bass seat coupler so the stud at the bottom of the bass boat ski pylon can pass thru it and be pinned underneath then it will fit.

The ad for the 10866 ski pylon refers to a requirement for 3/4" pin type base plate. I haven't located this plate on your site. Can you provide a part #?

Asked by: Greg
The base plate you are asking about is on the bass boat, it is for the pedestal seat. If you need another base plate order item 73624 for $34.99.
