Right idea, bad design
This is the right idea, but a bad design. Hooks up easy and seems to work, but it eventually breaks. The ends of the bungee cable are connected to clips with compression fittings - bad idea. What happens when a bungee stretches? It gets thinner, and the compression fitting come loose. We lost our tube one day after hitting a boat wake. I fixed the TubeKeeper, but a couple weeks later we lost the tube again on rough water and didn't know it. Spent a hour looking for the tube. And we lost a few parts of the TubeKeeper. Not that it matters, we wouldn't have used it again anyway. Maybe there's another product out there with a better design. Don't buy this one if you want to keep your tube.

very disappointed
I thought this product would be a great gift. It was not. Right on the product packaging it says not for high speeds, well, we're talking ski boats here. It started out OK, but the suction pads pulled off the boat at higher speeds. Also, after a day of playing in the water the suction pads would not stay in place when the boat surface was wet. They would slide around and eventually slip off. I did not bother to return them as this was a gift and by the time we found this out it had been more than 30 days and I would also have to pay shipping.

Worked great.
These straps work great! The product says to cut off the suction cup if you are going to attach this to your line cleat, but I found I didn't need to: I just used the line cleat and the suction cup. These held a large inflatable in place with no problem. The only draw back is that if you have an oversized inflatable on a smaller boat, then you might have lots of strap blowing around so you have to wrap the excess up, but that is easy enough. These straps worked to tie down the Obrien Slacker on an 18 foot boat.

Ahhh, body room!
This product gives you your boat back. Before, if you brought the tube, it was either in the water or a tremendous obstruction in the boat. Now, it hangs off the back (sort of) and everyone can move around the boat, and see the skier/boarder, etc. The only issue I had was that once you take off the tube, make sure to stow the cables at the same time. The rubber suction plates will not stay on the boat without the weight as pressure. I lost one that way and had to buy another set. Totally my fault.

Tube keeper works great
Tubekeeper worked great holding down 3-person tubes on back of boat at speeds of 30 mph. Actually used 1 pair to hold down 2 tubes, by placing bottom tube w/ handles up and then putting top tube with handles down, and threading the tubekeeper's straps through both tubes' handles. Suction cups work very well on clean, dry gelcoat. So handy to not have inflated tubes taking up interior seating areas when boating to tubing area.

Great boating/rafting addition!
I bought this as an afterthought when I ordered a towable raft. It has been an invaluable tool for us. We normally take two rafts out with us when we go boating on the river and this holds the larger raft in place on the back of the boat with very little effort to mount it. I plan to order a few more, one for the smaller raft we take and a couple for spares in case we loose one or more of the straps.

I was so happy that these keepers work!!
I can tell you that I bought this set of Tubekeepers not expecting much. They are great. They have held strong even as we zip all over the lake at full speed. We have only had them for a couple weeks now and they have done what they said they would do. I was not sure the suction cups were going to be able to hold that strong. We love them.

Get idea, and it works!
I was a bit concerned at first as to the best way t attach this to the tube and boat but after a few minutes of trying different positions, it worked well. I would suggest that maybe a couple pictures as how other folks actually use this item might help and convince others to buy it Over all, an excellent idea... and it works!

We purchased "The Tubekeeper" and it works great! We did lose one of the black clips and I was wondering if you can tell me where I can purchase a replacement.
Lori: I am very sorry to let you know that we do not have replacement parts for the Tube Keeper. The item is assembled overseas and comes into our facility as one complete unit. You "might" be able to utilize a "D" ring that you can get from Home Depot and clamping the bungee around it to secure. Or unfortuntely, it might be easier to purchase a new set, sorry about that. Hope you have a great boating season and thanks for your support of Airhead! Greg
