Additional Information
Engineered for todays tow vehicles.

The AeroShield's aerodynamic design reduces wind resistance and practically eliminates turbulent winds trapped between the tow vehicle and the fifth wheel or trailer, ensuring smoother handling and improved performance. The Aeroshield can be adjusted to virtually any angle allowing maximum aerodynamic efficiency and easily folds down when not in use. Ships completely assembled (includes mounting hooks #2,#6,#8 & #9) ready for installation.

Improved stability and handling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good purchase I was surprised how the deflector greatly reduce bug splats on the camper. It offered more stability in the cross winds trip to FLA. Took a while to figure out the mounting and it did leak inside the truck with torrential rain coming home. The straps are not waterproof so the water soaked them and dripped inside. Notice a slight increase in MPG.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wind deflector One thing to consider, make sure you pay attention to the color. I thought I was ordering white but black showed up. I’ll make it work but definitely would have preferred the right color

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wind Deflector Review I used the Wind Deflector for an 18 hour round trip (with a week in between) to Tennessee from Ohio and back. I towed a 32 ft. 5th wheel. It did cut down on the amount of insect splatter on the 5th wheel cap. I readjusted the wing up at the first fuel stop and the spatter was even less so yes, I support the claim it does reduce inspect spatter making post trip cleanup easier. However, the lower left and right far sides of the cap had more spatter than the rest (keeping in mind the wing has less effect due to the wing and cap's width) but still it was much better than without the cap. My biggest surprise was the handling improvement. I went from flat to rolling to small mountainous terrain during the drive with moderate winds and the handling was noticeably better. Highly support the handling claim. It's hard to comment on the mileage claim due to the long pulls up steep grades with a Ram 6.4 2500 but it was around 1/2 to 3/4 MPG better than previous trips. But those were on much more level roads. I expect this will increase a little when driving on Ohio roads. Pros: Better handling / less messy cap cleanup / modest MPG improvement / easy of assembly and mounting (about 10 minutes from begging to end (when mounting) / good product delivery time and condition / no water leaks while driving or parked in hard rain. Lots of interest from campers stopping talk about the wing. Cons: There was wind noise when I first mounted the wing. Not much but some towards the rear of the crew cab. In both stowed and up positions. Temporarily placed 1/2 foam copper pipe insulation on the front bottom edge that wrapped around about 5 inches on either side of the wing to blunt the wind hitting the sharp bottom leading edge which sits about 3/4 to an inch above my truck cab top. This worked. Was easily able to raise and lower the wing with no pressure or rubbing on the truck roof. I'll work on a more permanent fix this winter. The plastic material for the upper wing is a little thin but is molded with stiffeners. I may have a question of the wing life span but we’ll see. Not crazy about mounting the attachment metal clips under the weather stripping of the truck. Not so much seal damage from the clips but it does mean pulling the seals down and disturbing the adhesive in the seal channels which may cause them to become loose at that point. But knew this before buying and plan on replacing adhesive during off season. Overall a good product. I would and have recommended this item to friends after explaining the above
