Additional Information
Responding to the need for an easy-to-use machine that could tackle heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, Snow Joe developed the Snow Joe Ultra SJ621-RM, a larger electric snow thrower that delivers the power of a gas machine with the convenience of an electric unit. Driven by a 13.5-amp motor, the Snow Joe Ultra moves up to 650 pounds of snow per minute. Its durable, 4 blade rotor, constructed of heavy grade steel, cuts a full 18-inch wide and 10-inch deep with each pass, clearing 2450 square feet per hour.

In addition to its hard-working plowing capacity, the Snow Joe Ultra features an adjustable discharge chute that rotates a complete 180 degrees to provide full control over the snow discharge direction. The chute deflector can also be adjusted to control the height of the snow stream. Easy-glide pivot wheels make the Snow Joe Ultra easy to turn and maneuver on each pass. The scraper blade at the base of the unit efficiently scrapes the snow clear to the pavement.

Like the Snow Joe 322, the Snow Joe Ultra SJ621-RM, is powered electrically, making it effortless to start and maintain. No gas, oil, or tune-ups are necessary. The unit is ETL-approved. For heavier snowfall on large driveways and walkways, the Snow Joe Ultra SJ621-RM is your smart solution this winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it I used the Snow Joe SJ621 13.5-Amp Electric Snow Thrower for the first time today in about 6 inches of fluffy snow. It did the job, but slowed down when I pushed it too hard. I feared that it might overload the 15 amp breaker at times, but it never did. The only negative - if you want to call it that - is the fact that the Snow Joe SJ621 is heavy and awkward to handle with the added weight of the cord and lingering snow when you're finished using it. Other than that, there's really nothing about the Snow Joe SJ621 that I don't like. As with any tool, the user needs to use common sense when using it, and, if he does he should be a happy trooper just as I am.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best!! As a first time home owner, I decided to purchase this product because of the amount of snow that falls in the city I recently moved to. It performed wonderfully the very first time. I've used it three times so far this winter and as it's just the beginning of the season I know I'll get a lot of use out of it. I was able to clear the snow at the end of my driveway that the plough left. It took some time as the snow was mixed with ice, but to my surprise (and my neighbours I'm sure) it cleared it. This product is just as good, if not better, then the gas operated ones. One of the best purchases I've made this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine SJ621 This past weekend we had a storm of 5" thick wet snow. This machine, after the storm ended, handled it like nothing. After two passes it got right down to the pavement and the driveway was black in one hour. Although it got jammed a few times cause of the ice buildup, this machine handled 5" wet snow on three customer driveways with no problem. The cord is also nothing to really worry about. Just keep your eyes out for it, I bought a bright color so I didn't loose sight of it. Going to be getting 30" this week, see how the machine handles it time after time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good power but poor quality control Out of the box, after a modest amount of assembly, I noticed the blower tilted down to the left about 1/2 inch at the wheel. Wheels were same diameter, no bends in the bracket holding the wheel, and the bracket holding the wheel seemed to be mounted appropriately. Facing a 2 foot wet snow fall 7 days after hand surgery, I decided I needed to move snow more than have a perfect blower. Could not get the light to turn on and decided I didn't need a light. Blower moved a lot of snow which made me happy. Has performed well as long as I tip it up slightly to either force the auger to scrape the cement clean or fully engage the bottom scraper. Neighbors with battery blowers haven't been able to clean as much or as quickly as this tool does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snow Joe SJJ621 Electric Single Stage Snow Thrower Sorry for the delay in writing a review. Had to wait for a snow fall in which we could use our electric snow blower. My sons finally got to use our first electric snow blower during New Jersey snow storm that occurred on 03.07.2018. I kept hearing on the new news, that the snow blowers weren't working well in the wet heavy snow we were receiving. Well we had no problem with our purchase. We live in a townhouse community so we needed to do our driveway, sidewalk and then where our vehicles are parked. My one son who is 20 did the plowing as my other son who is 18 was in charge of the the extension cord. Great purchase happy with the snow blower at this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better then Expected We just got hit with 9 inches of heavy wet snow, and this Snow Thrower exceeded all expectations. It handled the snow with no problem - I did Spray the chute with WD-40 before using it and it threw the snow much farther then I thought it would, It got right down to the black top and even handled the front of driveway where snow plows pile up the snow - I just had to "Chop" through the pile but it really did do a great job. I would highly recommend this model. The cord takes a little getting use to but if you plan ahead no problem. -

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great snow blower I have used this over the winter and has been great . Cleared eight inches of snow no problem . It cleared compacted twelve inch windrow left from snow plow with a little effort but was great. Light and small enough to lift to my deck and take in my RAV4 . My driveway is gravel and shaped about 150 feet long so did handle the occasional leaf, stone and twig easily. I have used it in minus 25 C temperatures and it was great. No gas, no gas choke, no shear pin, to worry about. My sister in law has bought one and loves it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good. A small machine for a big nor’east I bought this in 2019. But we had no appreciable snow in 2019 or 2020 so it has been sitting in my shed. A nor’easter is moving through Philadelphia. Lots of snow but unfortunately sleet or freezing rain so the snow is very heavy. I have used it now four times in the past six hours. Very successfully. Even with some pretty heavy snow it has performed well. I have not let the snow build up much higher than 4-5 inches. So I’m not trying to use it in really deep snow. But I’m very pleased with its performance. It would’ve been better if I had bought a cordless one. But I have a super long extension cord so it’s worked out fine
